If you would like to dance with us we have spaces in our adult class in Hove and we are organising a NEW youth class!

We also offer ‘in residence’ classes in supported living settings and would be happy to create the right solution for you!

The 283 Crew

The 283 Crew are our longest running crew. They formed in 2012 and have performed nation wide, they are all residents with Achieve Together who we have worked closely with throughout the years and they were the inspiration for Family Thing to become a charity. 

Dance Ninjas

The Dance Ninjas are a group of adults from Brighton and Hove. As their name suggests they are powerful, sharp and their performances always pack a punch! They make every one around them want to get up and join in. 

Youth One

This is our very first youth class which we had the opportunity to develop with thanks to The National Lottery! They dance together at Hill Park School in Portslade and are always a lot of fun!

Dancing with St.John's

Thanks to the generosity of The East Brighton Trust we had the opportunity to work with St. John’s college in . The trial of this project was such a success that it is continuing to thrive!

Our Global Family

We believe in the power of connection. Our family is a global one and we have absolutely loved having the opportunity to dance with young people in Kenya – The 283 Crew even taught our Kenyan dancers some of their best moves via video sessions #FunkWithUs
